Ten planes to deliver millions of eggs to Israel ahead of Passover
Israel will import millions of eggs to ensure no shortage will be
experienced as the nation gears up to Passover, which starts on night of
April 8, the Prime Minister’s Office reported.
The cargo planes are arriving in Israel as egg shortages have been reported amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Earlier
this year, Israelis experienced a butter shortage, making this the
second time a a food staple was not readily available to consumers.
