Ajuede sincerely bless the name of God almighty who, in his infinite mercy, has used the persecutions posed by bad governance in Nigerian and the ceaseless desire to kill Christians through her Islamic frontiers as opportunity to elevate Bishop Kukah.

We must acknowledge the fact that we were counter critics to each other, especially when issues concerning the Igbo history were discussed. Those discussions were however scholarly. We argued sensibly and understandably.

Congratulations the avowed activist and mouthpiece of the depraved Nigerians. You must hold the light to the right part towards the emancipation of your rich Hausa heritage toppled by the Fulani marauders. In Rome you have unlimited voice to challenge the cabalistic government of your country.

Once again congratulations!

The appointment was contained in a letter to Bishop Kukah dated 11th December 2020, and signed by His Eminence, Peter Cardinal Turkson, the Prefect of the Dicastery.

A statement by the Director, Social Communications, Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, St. Bakhita Catholic Secretariat, Rev. Fr Christopher Omotosho, says that by this appointment, Bishop Kukah will join other members of the Dicastery drawn from different regions of the world to advise and promote the Holy Father’s concerns on issues of justice and peace, human rights, torture, human trafficking, care of creation and other issues related to the promotion of human dignity and development.

The appointment, which is renewable is for an initial period of five years. The Council will be formally inaugurated on a later date.
