VP Pence Honors The Late Chuck Yeager At W.Va. Memorial Service

Vice President Mike Pence honored the life of the late Air Force brigadier General Chuck Yeager. On Friday, Pence gave an opening speech at Yeager’s memorial service in Charleston, West Virginia alongside his wife.

The group traveled aboard Air Force Two, bringing Yeager’s casket a step closer to his final resting place. In 1947, the West Virginia native became the first person to fly faster than sound.

During the ceremony, Pence highlighted Yeager’s decorated military career.

“I know that as long as Americans push the boundaries of what’s possible, as long as we’re brave enough to push the outside of the envelope, and as long as American pilots and astronauts soar to the skies and the great beyond, the life, the example, the courage of General Chuck Yeager will ever inspire,” Pence stated.

Yeager died last month at the age of 97, leaving behind his wife and four children from a previous relationship.

                  INTRODUCTION In the history of syntax, prepositions alongside other parts of speech are considered as one of the esteemed contributions of the sophists (the itinerant teachers) to the development of the human language. Etymologically, the term “preposition” belonged to the group of word class Aristotle, the founder, referred to as “syndesmoi”. Others in this group are conjunction , article and pronoun . They were thus grouped by Aristotle because they were found to be performing related functions that are summed up in binding terms and exposing the gaps amidst sentences when they are not included.
