The killing of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh — whom Israel has dubbed the “father” of Iran’s nuclear weapons programme — has once more heightened tensions between Tehran and its foes, with President Hassan Rouhani accusing the Jewish state of acting as Washington’s “mercenary”. Fakhrizadeh died on Friday after being seriously wounded when assailants targeted his car and engaged in a gunfight with his bodyguards outside Tehran, according to Iran’s defence ministry. The funeral got underway with a religious singer alluding to the martyrdo

Powell (Getty) An analysis by a onetime military intelligence analyst whose name was redacted in an affidavit with lawyer attorney Sidney Powell’s lawsuit against Michigan officials insists there's “unambiguous evidence” that Dominion Voter Systems servers were accessible to and were “compromised by rogue actors, such as Iran and China.” According to reporting by The Epoch Times,  Powell’s complaint, filed Wednesday against Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, and the Board of State Canvassers, cites the affidavit as representing a former electronic intelligence analyst and supporting claims that “the Dominion software was accessed by agents acting on behalf of China and Iran in order to monitor and manipulate elections, including the most recent US general election in 2020.” Epoch said that a separate complaint in Georgia expands on the assertion, claiming that “by using servers and employees connected with rogue actors and hostile foreign influences

(Andrew Renneisen/Getty Images) The United States has closed at least 10 of its military bases in Afghanistan since reaching an agreement with the Taliban last February, as part of its ongoing withdrawal from the country,  The Washington Post  reports. Officials from the U.S. and Afghanistan confirmed that the bases have closed as part of the withdrawal agreement, though they did so under the condition of anonymity, since the military has not signed off on commenting about base closures with the media, and several of those closures had not been publicly reported. The newspaper notes that what happened to those bases is largely unknown. Some were given to Afghan forces, while others were vacated with the option of being reoccupied, possibly leaving some equipment that would be difficult to move behind. “Little is known about what remains of those bases, many in A

On Sunday, Jair Bolsonaro told  reporters  he thinks it’s wise to allow President Trump’s legal arguments to go through in court before congratulating a winner. He also said there is evidence of widespread voting fraud, though he added he’s not sure whether it was enough to sway the election. Only TWO POLITICIANS in the whole world are fighting against the globalist dictatorship agenda:  @jairbolsonaro  and  @realDonaldTrump . All other leaders are giving up and falling into Soros's pocket. This is why the outlet media hates both of them.  pic.twitter.com/e3jzjFjYtp — Allan Dos Santos (@allanldsantos)  November 29, 202

(Photo by Stefan Zaklin/Getty Images) On Monday, Congress returns to work to gear up into a two-week overdrive as lawmakers conclude their work for the year. Lawmakers have to work fast if they hope to pass a number of major legislative measures before the short working period is up. The House has just nine in-session days starting Monday. The Senate has 14 before breaking for the new year. The biggest item on the legislative to-do list is an agreement on government funding. Congress faces a December 11 deadline to pass a government-funding bill and to avoid a shutdown. Reports said negotiations over Thanksgiving ended with a deal on spending levels for the 12 2021 fiscal appropriation bills. The chairs of the Senate and House Appropriations Committees said they would sit down to hammer out the final details. Committee staff and the White House would finalize each of the spending bills. In early November, Senate Majority Leader Mitch Mc
