EPL: Solskjaer reveals five things Cavani will bring to Man Utd squad

Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has said that the club’s new signing, Edinson Cavani, will bring energy, power, leadership, great mentality to the Red Devils squad and goals.

Cavani joined Man United on Monday night (transfer deadline day) as a free agent after ending his seven-year spell with Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The Uruguay striker signed a one-year contract with an option for a further year.

Reacting to the development, Solskjaer told Man United’s official website: “Edinson is an experienced ultimate professional who always gives everything for his team.

“His goalscoring record for club and country is fantastic, and we are delighted to sign a player of his calibre.

“He’ll bring energy, power, leadership and a great mentality to the squad but, most importantly, he’ll bring goals.

“He has had a brilliant career so far, winning trophies at almost every club he has played for, and he still has so much more to give at the highest level.”
