IDF strike kills three senior Islamic Jihad terrorists in Gaza Strip, military confirms

The PIJ terrorists were identified as Muhammad Atiya Hassan Abu Afash, Farhat Zuhair Farhat Harara, and Abdallah Allah Riyadh Masoud Qadoum, the military said. According to the IDF, Afash was head of PIJ's Engineering and Specializations Array. He was responsible for developing the terror group's engineering capabilities as part of this role. The terrorist was also "extensively involved" in terror attacks on  IDF  soldiers. Harara served as Afash's deputy in the engineering array, the military noted

Hezbollah launches rockets at IDF posts after Lebanese media reports IDF strikes in nation's south

No official Israeli sources confirmed this action.  Immediately following the initial reports of the strikes, sirens sounded in northern Israel as three projectiles were launched from Lebanon toward IDF posts. Some were intercepted prior to entering Israeli territory, the military announced, adding that one projectile fell near Israeli soldiers. No wounded were reported.  These Hezbollah rockets were fired within less than an hour of Iran saying that it would stop firing on Israel if the IDF stopped attacking it. IDF: New conflict with Iran to last several days, or may escalate to full-blown war

(photo credit: IDF SPOKESPERSON'S UNIT) Iran fired more than 20 ballistic missiles at Israel, as the IDF warned the renewed conflict could last several days and intensify further. The  IDF  on Monday said the newest conflict with Iran is expected to last at least a few days, and could still heat up into a return to full-blown war. As of 11:30 a.m., Iran has fired three salvos, which cumulatively have reached between  22 and 24 ballistic missiles  at Israel, while the Houthis in Yemen have fired two missiles. One of the Houthi missiles fell short of  Israeli  territory, while the other was shot down by the Israeli air defense. All of the Iranian missiles so far have either been shot down or fallen short.
