Youssef El-Arabi scored in the last minute of extra-time to give Olympiakos a 2-1 victory at Arsenal on Thursday and knock the Londoners out of the Europa League. Arsenal, last year’s losing finalists, had won the first leg of the round of 32 tie 1-0 in Greece. Defender Pape Abou Cisse cancelled out that advantage after 53 minutes. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Arsenal back in front with a spectacular goal 23 minutes into extra-time, but El Arabi dramatically put Olympiakos through on away goals.

Ighalo had vowed to dedicate his first goal to her and he fulfilled his promise. Mary Atole passed away at the age of 43 on December 12, after collapsing at her residence in Canada while readying her children to go to school.

Catholic Pontiff, Pope Francis has cancelled a Mass as he catches an unspecified illness after meeting with people with Coronavirus on Wednesday. The clergy has remained in Rome due to the illness. Mirror UK quoted the Vatican as saying that the 83-year-old pontiff, had a ‘slight indisposition’ and would proceed with the rest of his planned work later on Thursday. It said the pontiff, however, “preferred to stay near Santa Marta”, the Vatican hotel where he uses as his residence. The Vatican has not disclosed the nature of his illness, but the Pontiff was seen coughing and blowing his nose during the Ash Wednesday Mass, according to the newspaper.
