The pro-Biafra leader, who claimed that the real Buhari was buried in Saudi Arabia, vowed that his group knows where the President’s presidential jet is and will never allow him to leave Japan. The IPOB leader claimed that even if they try to smuggle ‘Jubril-Buhari’ out by hiding him in a diplomatic bag, that they (IPOB) shall get hold of him. Kanu added, “How come all of their so-called Elites, Intellectuals, Professors, Academics, Opinion Leaders, Politicians, Royal Fathers, Pundits, Pastors, Native Doctors, are silent as their government keeps on dishing out lies upon li

The Lagos State House Assembly has set-up a committee to investigate the purchase of 820 buses by the administration of former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. Members of the Assembly constituted the panel on Tuesday during plenary, saying it was important to investigate the purchase of the 820 buses out of the 5,000 buses proposed by the former governor for mass transit in the state. They said the vehicles were purchased despite objection by the House. In a motion titled ‘Lagos State House of Assembly Motion Number II’, a lawmaker Gbolahan Yishawu (Eti Osa II) explained that the House noted that at the Executive/ Legislative parley held in September 2017, Mr Ambode informed the lawmakers that 5,000 buses would be bought by the state government. He stated that the executive proposed to spend N17 billion to purchase the buses in the 2017 budget, but the Assembly did not approve the request. Yishawu said, “In the 2018 and 2019 budgets, the state government proposed N24 Billion and

Senator Kalu, who was accused of stealing N7.6billion while he served as governor between 1999 and 2007, insisted that the state had no such fund during his tenure. Brazil rejected millions in Amazon aid

Brazil  has escalated its war of words with global powers over the  Amazon fires , announcing it would reject  $20 million  in foreign aid before the country's president appeared to contradict his own representatives and leave the door open to accepting the funds. The special communications office for  President Jair Bolsonaro  told CNN on Tuesday morning that Brazil would turn down the money that was pledged at the  G7 summit in France  the day before. But around an hour after his communications office confirmed that Brazil would reject the funding, Bolsonaro appeared to cast doubt on the matter. "Did I say that? Did I? Did Jair Bolsonaro speak?" he asked reporters outside the presidential residence. The Brazilian president added that he would only respond to the offer once  French President Emmanuel Macron  withdrew his insults against him. Macron had accused Bolsonaro of "lying" to him about climate commitments during trade negotiations. Br
