A Kannywood star, Zainab Abdullahi, has called on Northerners to kill popular human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu. Abdullahi, who is a member of the Buhari Support Group, and Buhari Media Centre, in an Instagram post described Yesufu as a Jew, who must be attacked by all means. Since the start of #EndSARS protest, Kannywood stars have been taking to social media to discredit the movement, calling those, who joined the agitation as bad muslims that must be dealt with. A picture taken of Yesufu during the protest in Abuja where she raised a clenched fist, became a morale booster and symbol for Nigerians calling for the scrapping of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a notorious police unit known for brutality against citizens. Yoruba World Congress, Professor Banjo Akintoye, on Friday, described Tuesday's shooting at unarmed protesters at Lekki, Lagos by security forces as a declaration of war against the Yoruba people of Nigeria.  Akintoye, in a statement, also tackled President Muhammadu Buhari for failing to show empathy at the injured protesters and those who lost loved ones during his nation-wide address.  Prof. Banji Akintoye The Yoruba leader also expressed worry over the wanton destruction of properties and monuments across Yorubaland in the last 48hours without any form of resistance from security agencies. CSP Rabiu Garba, DPO, Fegge Police station Onitsha. Yesterday some youths in Onitsha mobilized to burn down some Police stations based on allegations of extortions and highhandness. When they trooped to Fegge Police station all the policemen has fled remaining just him. soon as he came out the youths were shocked since they knew him as a good Police officer. They all apologized profusely and he gave them a lecture on why it is wrong to indulge in such acts. They all left and went home.
