The Biden Regime on Thursday moved to ban menthol cigarettes. The Food and Drug Administration announced a plan to ban menthol cigarettes which are primarily used by blacks and other racial minorities. “Today, more than 85 percent of Black smokers choose menthol cigarettes — almost three times the proportion for White smokers.” the Washington Post  reported . Fox News  reporte d  Drug Administration (FDA) released its plan to ban menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars on Thursday, saying the actions have the potential to significantly reduce disease and death. The menthol product standard will reduce the appeal of cigarettes — particularly to youth and young adults — and improve the health and reduce the mortality risk of current menthol cigarette smokers by decreasing cigarette consumption and increasing the likelihood of cessation. While speaking at the Brookings Institution on Thursday, she said the US is facing major economic problems in the near future. Yellen then pointed to skyrocketing costs of fuel, supply chain disruptions and low labor productivity as main reasons for concern. US Marine Killed During Russia’s Invasion Of Ukraine

Family members of Willy Joseph Cancel said they were told he died on Monday. At the time of his death, he was working with a private military contracting company. According to his family, the company was apparently hiring people to fight in the war, which led Cancel to fly to Poland in March. “He wanted to go over because he believed in what Ukraine was fighting for and he wanted to be a part of it to contain it there so it didn’t come here,” explained his mother, Rebecca Cabrera. “And that maybe our American soldiers wouldn’t have to be involved in it.” At this time, Cancel’s body has not been recovered. During a press conference at the White House Thursday, Biden said in total he’s asking for an additional $33 billion for the war-torn country as the conflict continues for more than two months. Twenty billion dollars will be used for military assistance, $8 billion for economic assistance and $3 billion for humanitarian aid, which is expected to last through September 30. Norway Shuts Borders, Ports to Russian Goods, Exempts Fishing Vessels

Russian fishing vessels, which often land their catch at ports in northern Norway, will receive exemptions from sanctions. Norway's Arctic Svalbard archipelago, which operates under a 1920s treaty allowing expanded foreign access, will also be exempted, the ministry said.

Willy Joseph Cancel, a 22-year-old New York native, was killed while fighting alongside Ukrainian forces, his family members told  CNN . Cancel's mother, Rebecca Cabrera, told CNN that her son left his full-time job as a corrections officer in Tennessee to work with a private military contracting company in Ukraine. She added that Cancel leaves behind a 7-month-old baby and a wife.
