A new report from the Daily Caller published Friday shows more than 25 members of Robert Mueller’s legal team “wiped” or deleted the contents of their cell-phones during the Russia-Trump collusion investigation.
“Several prosecutors on the special counsel’s team claimed they accidentally wiped their devices by entering incorrect passwords too many times. Others said they intentionally deleted data from their phones,” reports the Daily Caller.
“There is no indication from the records that any of the special counsel prosecutors scrubbed their phones to intentionally hide their communications. The prosecutors likely knew their phones were subject to review from the Justice Department’s office of the inspector general,” adds the website.
