Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has said the agitator may lose his life in detention. Ejimakor said Kanu’s heart is failing him, and he is having severe breathing problem. The counsel lamented that the IPOB leader has not received adequate medical attention in custody of the Department of State Services, DSS. Ejimakor disclosed this while appealing to the International Red Cross Society to facilitate immediate and independent medical examination of Kanu. He made the call in a letter entitled ‘RE: Urgent Appeal for your humanitarian intervention with the Government of Nigeria to grant Mazi Nnamdi Kanu access to independent medical examination and care.’ In the letter sighted by DAILY POST, Ejimakor urged the Red Cross to “bring your good offices to bear on the Government of Nigeria to grant our client the opportunity of an independent medical examination and care within the shortest possible time.” According to Ejimakor: “O
