Peter Obi Praised Workers as they Mark Workers Day

The Governor of Anambra State (former), Dr. Peter Obi has felicitated with the Nigerian workforce as they Mark this year's workers day.

In a twit, Obi made the following remarks:

"Workforce remains the bedrock of the socio-economic development of any country - Nigeria inclusive. I urge you, therefore, to stay focused in your determination to help the country break the barriers of poverty and underdevelopment.

I, therefore, wish to urge Nigerian workers to continue to strive in their struggle to secure a good future for themselves and the rest of the vulnerable poor in our society.

Dear workers, as I felicitate with you on this special day, I am also aware that your members in the medical sector are in the frontline as our heroes saving lives amid the COVID-19 pandemic."
