Anambra State govt marks celebrity Prophet Odumeje’s church for demolition

This not the best of times for controversial Prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanaeme popularly known as Odumeje as his Church at Bida Road Fegge gets marked for demolition by Anambra State government.

It was gathered that the reason for the decision to bring down the church’s structure is not farfetched.

Odumeje’s church is said to be obstructing and blocking the drainage way within Fegge-Onitsha environs.  

The cleric is yet to officially react to this new development.


Kemi Filani will recall that Odumeje became an internet sensation when Ada Jesus died.

Some Nigerians blamed popular Chukwuemeka Odumeje and veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie for the death of comedienne, Ada Jesus.

Ada Jesus died after suffering from kidney ailment.
However, before her death she went viral after she pleaded for forgiveness from Prophet Odumeje and Rita Edochie.

Ada Jesus had accused Prophet Odumeje of conniving with actress Rita Edochie and others to stage miracles.


She later became ill with renal failure and was confined to a wheelchair and many people believed it was because of her outburst against the prophet.

When her health declined, her family took her to Odumejeje’s Church to beg for forgiveness.

Odumeje had earlier vowed not to forgive her but yielded to pressure and forgave her days ago.

Etymologically, the term “preposition” belonged to the group of word class Aristotle, the founder, referred to as “syndesmoi”. Others in this group are conjunction , article and pronoun . T he name Nkalaha is a coinage which stands for a people occupying a geographical land and regional setting in the eastern part of Nigeria. It is a coinage which attempts to explain the direction of movement and adventure of the men who founded the community in the beginning. According to oral sources and some documentation about this community, some of these men were believed to have traveled from Ida, old Benue state of Nigeria to inhabit the land. These men had traveled on different days to locate the place.
