Insurgency punishment for our sins – Sultan


Buhari will not resign over insecurity-FG As Senate mulls agency for repentant terrorists The insurgency in the country is part of God’s punishment against Nigerians for disobeying his commands, Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar lll has said. 

Speaking at the 5th International Conference on “Love and Tolerance: Countering Violent Extremism for Peaceful Coexistence” in Abuja, the Sultan said Nigerians were living in sin and have refused to abide by the teachings of the Quran and the Bible.
