House Majority Moved Motion for Nnamdi Kanu's Release



Majority in the numbers of the members of the Nigerian house of Representatives, last week, have supported the motion moved by the speaker of the house to release the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

This motion was moved following the discussion on the solution to quelling the unwavering sit-at-home civil disobedience observed in the entire Igboland.

To this, the speaker threw the house to voting, during which the population of the members majored on ohose who said Yes.

The speaker therefore remarked that he will meet with the house majority and minority leaders to see to the position of the nation's laws to address issues on Nnamdi Kanu's release.
