Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court on Wednesday in Abuja frowned at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for allegedly publishing false information on Senator Shehu Sani, who is standing trial in court. The  News Agency of Nigeria  reports that the EFCC had, on January 27, arraigned the former lawmaker, who was arrested in December 2019 for allegedly “collecting 25,000 dollars″ in the name of the EFCC acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu. Sani is facing trial on two counts of bribery and advanced fee fraud by the EFCC.  The EFCC on February 25 published a news story on their official Twitter handle ‘@officialEFCC’ with the headline ‘EFCC presents witnesses Against Shehu Sani Over Alleged $10m Fraud’. Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has cried out over the killing of Christians in Nigeria. Kanu called on the International Criminal Court, ICC, to take actions against the killing of Christians across Nigeria. In a series of tweets, the IPOB leader stated that the abduction of Leah Sharibu by Boko Haram, insurgents and attacks on people of the Southeast were examples of killings against Christians. The IPOB leader urged both ICC and the United States, US, State Department, and international communities to stop such atrocities.
