(Raedle/Getty Images) President Joe Biden didn't mention the border situation in his first joint address to Congress, but he's created a "disaster" there, former President Donald Trump said Thursday.  "One thing is that he didn't discuss the border and the fact that tens of thousands of people are pouring into our country, many of them criminals, many of them people from jails, many of them doing acts that you don't even want to know about," Trump told Fox Business's Maria Bartiromo. "They're pouring into our country by the thousands at a level that's never been seen before and (the Biden administration is) doing absolutely nothing." Meanwhile, Biden stopped the construction of the border wall that was one of Trump's signature agenda items, and the former president said the wal

Protesters Disrupt Biden Speech, Call for End of Detention Centers

Image
(Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images) President Joe Biden's speech at a drive-in rally on Wednesday was interrupted by a group of protesters shouting for the president to "end detention now." The shouts from the protesters allude to ending detention centers and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement. As the chant began to grow louder, Biden said to them, "we'll give ya a microphone," according to a  CBS Twitter post . While Biden began to thank the voters of Georgia, more shouts started to pour in from the group of protesters. One shouted, "abolish ICE" another yelled out, "our families are dying." Biden, taken aback, took a moment, then said, "I agree with you ... I'm working on it, man. Give me another five days." "Folks, you all know what they're talking about. There should be no private prisons, period ... none, period. That's what they're talking about, private detention centers. They should not exist and we

(Sean Rayford/Getty Images) Former Vice President Mike Pence told a crowd of pastors that "God isn’t done with America yet." According to the  Washington Examiner,  his comments came during a "fireside chat" with about 400 pastors at the First Baptist Church of Columbia in South Carolina on Thursday. Pence said that the U.S. is "a nation of believers," as  he encouraged people to lean on God. "I believe this is the time when we ought to renew our faith in Him who placed this miracle of democracy on these wilderness shores," he said. "Because I say from my heart, God isn't done with America yet." Pence recalled the day in 1978 at a Christian rally when he "stood up" for Jesus. And he told of receiving a letter last year from the youth pastor who organized the event.

Video Is Mount Rushmore next? Gov. Noem won't stand for 'radical rewriting of history' South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem pledges to protect Mount Rushmore amid calls to remove statues during unrest EXCLUSIVE:  South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem sued the Biden administration on Friday after it  canceled the Independence Day fireworks celebration at Mount Rushmore, demanding the court "expeditiously" issue a permit for the event to take place. Noem , a Republican, filed a lawsuit Friday in U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota Central Division. "Mount Rushmore is the very best place to celebrate America’s birthday and all that makes our country special," Noem wrote. "After telling us they’d ‘circle back,’ the Biden Administration has not responded to our request to uphold the Memorandum Agreement between the State of South Dakota and the National Parks Service to host a safe and responsible national celebration and fireworks show." "Pelosi and AOC have Hijacked Dems, Biden is just behind their Control," Rep. Nancy Mace

Video President Biden's Address to Joint Session of Congress President Joe Biden addresses a joint session of Congress; Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum host. When  Joe Biden  was sworn in as president in January, he promised the American people he would make bipartisanship a top priority of his administration and work to unify the country. Many Americans, including myself, were hopeful he’d stick to this promise, one he repeated over and over again on the campaign trail.   It was a welcome change after years of radical voices calling louder and louder for things like  Supreme Court-packing , single-payer health care, and trillions of dollars in spending. This was a real chance for the radical left in Congress to be sidelined so both parties could come together and do the work the American people sent us here to do.  Of course, I knew how difficult and unlikely this was, but I never would’ve predicted just how far left Pelosi’s party would go in just 100 days, and how  President Bid

Liz Peek: Joe Biden, after 100 days, finally talks truth -- cutting US carbon emissions won't matter

Video President Biden's Address to Joint Session of Congress President Joe Biden addresses a joint session of Congress; Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum host. President Joe Biden , contrary to expectations, said something consequential in his first address to members of Congress…by mistake. It was a whopper that went unnoticed on Wednesday night; with just a few ill-chosen words Biden utterly toppled any justification for the  Green New Deal , which plays a central role in his $2.3 trillion American Jobs Plan and which, without a doubt, puts our economy at risk. This is what he said, according to a  New York Times transcript  of the president’s remarks: "The United States accounts, as all of you know, for less than 15 percent of carbon emissions. The rest of the world accounts for 85 percent. That’s why I kept my commitment to rejoin the Paris Accord, because if we do everything perfectly,  it’s not going to matter. "  That was not in the version of the speech the White Ho

The 45th President made the remarks during an interview with  The Dan Bongino Show  Wednesday, urging Americans to keep an eye on the forensic audit in Maricopa County. “I think it’s going to be incredible, I think it’s going to be eye-opening because I personally think that — I have no question we won Arizona,” President Trump said. “We had rallies. We had such enthusiasm. Nobody’s ever seen anything like it. Then all of a sudden we lose [and] people couldn’t believe it.” The 45th President also pointed out how Democrat lawmakers sent 103 lawye
