PM Ekpa appeared in the Finish court yesterday to present his response to the five conditions attached to his bail from the Finish correctional centre where he has been incarcerated since November, 2024. His attorney in the person of Kaarle Gummerus represented the PM to respond to the bail conditions and announce the view of his client over the bail conditions.  Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has approved the involvement of IPOB’s Eastern Security Network (ESN) to confront Fulani herdsmen and protect Abia farmers, following the continued inaction of Nigerian security forces. "If the Nigerian police and military refuse to act against these bandits, I have no choice but to authorize the ESN to defend Abia State. Sometimes, madness can only respond to madness," the governor stated. He further emphasized that the security agencies are fully aware of the ongoing attacks across Nigeria but have consistently refused to intervene.
