Rob Portman, R-Ohio, said Sunday that bipartisan agreement on a $1.2 trillion infrastructure package was close, with mass transit funding the outstanding issue to resolve. Trump issued a statement warning GOP lawmakers not to agree to such a deal, and again took aim at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. Durham Report Probably Will Be Made Public

(Brandon Bell/Getty) A  newly released  letter  from Deputy Assistant Attorney General Joe Gaeta suggests that the report from special counsel John Durham will likely become public once Durham’s probe into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation is complete. Durham is investigating the DOJ’s error-riddled 2016 counterintelligence operation against Donald Trump's campaign and associates and its origins. It is unknown when the investigation will end. The letter from Gaeta was addressed to Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, and Senator Ron Johnson, R-Wis., the ranking member of both the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee. Gaeta’s letter,  sent  on July 13 and made public on July 23, was in response to Grassley and Johnson criticizing the DOJ for hiring Susan H
