Police are calling the incident a “killing spree” as the suspect drove around and opened fire at four different locations across downtown Denver Monday evening. Lakewood police engaged the suspected gunman at which time he shot one officer and then fled from his vehicle.

New York Representative Nicole Malliotakis says new yorkers are fed up with government overreach amid the pandemic. During an interview Monday the Republican said a growing number of Americans are concerned about continued vaccine and mask mandates on both a federal and local level. Malliotakis made those comments just as New York City mayor Bill De Blasio’s rule mandating all private-sector employees be vaccinated took effect. Malliotakis said she’s looking forward to De Blasio leaving office next week and also the supreme court taking up challenges to Joe Biden’s federal vaccine mandate. In a press conference Monday De Blasio hailed the measure which went into effect Monday as a preferable alternative to a full lockdown. In his lawsuit filed in Washington Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich says the Democrat controlled panel is using deceptive tactics trying to ambush its targets. H e points out the committee held just one public hearing and it’s mostly working through private depositions seeking to improperly obtain private records. Budowich adds that he had cooperated with the panel until December 23rd when he found out Democrats tried to obtain his bank records. He stressed the January Sixth Committee and Nancy Pelosi are violating the U.S. constitution for political purposes.
