Trump to demand Wisconsin recount following reports on a Biden victory
President Donald Trump's campaign will immediately request a recount of votes in Wisconsin, even though the state's presidential election results have yet to be finalized.
The administrator of the Wisconsin Elections Commission told NBC News that all the votes in the state have been tallied, and that Biden defeated Trump to secure the state's 10 electoral votes.
"There have been reports of irregularities in several Wisconsin counties which raise serious doubts about the validity of the results," campaign manager Bill Stepien said in a statement, without providing details of any reports. "The president is well within the threshold to request a recount, and we will immediately do so.”
Despite the announcement, no other sources have called the state for Biden. The Associated Press still have the results as inconclusive, and even NBC's official website has only 97% of votes listed as having been counted.
