Capitol Police are to arrest any staff and visitors if they are not wearing masks on the House side of the Capitol and its office buildings. This is according to a memo obtained by Florida Rep. Kat Cammack (R) on Thursday. Congressional aides, however, do not face arrest as officers are advised to report the noncompliance of lawmakers to the House sergeant-at-arms. This comes after Congress’ chief physician re-imposed mask mandates on Wednesday, causing tensions to rise on the floor. GOP lawmake

McConnell made these comments from the House floor on Thursday, saying the country would benefit from targeted investment in the kinds of projects that fit a common-sense definition of infrastructure. He said this includes roads, bridges, airports and broadband. In addition, McConnell said he’s glad to see discussions on the infrastructure bill making progress in what ought to be a robust bipartisan floor process. “This kind of focused compromise that our colleagues have been hashing out could not contrast more sharply with the multi-trillio

Graham said he’s confident the GOP will take back the House and Senate next year.

Hushpuppi, who pleaded guilty to various charges, including money laundering, wire fraud, and felony, among others, had said he used Kyari, a leader of the Inspector-General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team, to jail a fellow fraudster Kelly Chibuzor Vincent after both were locked in a dispute presumably over how to share the $1.1million loot received from the Qatari businessperson. (AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin) Political intolerance by the left appears to reach a boiling point as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) directly insults her Republican counterpart. The biggest voices in the House traded verbal jabs over the new mask mandate in the lower chamber. On Wednesday, Pelosi and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) clashed over the capitol physician’s decision to reinstate a mask mandate on the House floor. Pelosi immediately went with a low blow in response. The top Democrat called McCarthy a “moron” for saying the CDC’s ever-changing guidance on face masks isn’t supported by science.
