Church sexton had throat slit while preparing for Mass: police source

Around 9:00am, a man armed with a knife entered the Notre Dame church in Nice and slit the throat of the sexton, beheaded an elderly woman, and badly wounded a third woman, according to a police source.

Vincent, the 54-year-old sexton, was a father of two and had just opened the church to prepare for the first Mass of the day.

Vincent and the elderly woman died on the spot, while the third woman managed to make it out of the church into a nearby cafe, but she later died from her wounds, Nice mayor Christian Estrosi told reporters at the scene.

                  INTRODUCTION In the history of syntax, prepositions alongside other parts of speech are considered as one of the esteemed contributions of the sophists (the itinerant teachers) to the development of the human language. Etymologically, the term “preposition” belonged to the group of word class Aristotle, the founder, referred to as “syndesmoi”. Others in this group are conjunction , article and pronoun . They were thus grouped by Aristotle because they were found to be performing related functions that are summed up in binding terms and exposing the gaps amidst sentences when they are not included.
