Moise Kean turned down the chance to join Arsenal because the north London club could not promise first-team football, according to reports. The  Juventus  striker is set to join  Everton  after the two clubs agreed a fee that could rise to as much as £36million. The 19-year-old is now set to undergo a medical with the Merseyside club before completing the deal, which is expected to give the Italian champions first refusal on signing him in the future. However, the  Daily Mail  reports that  Arsenal  contacted both Juventus and Mino Raiola, the player's agent, in an attempt to hijack the move at the last minute. But the publication claims that the Italy international rejected a switch to the Emirates Stadium because the Gunners were unable to guarantee a regular place in Unai Emery's starting line-up. The 19-year-old had a spell in the Championship at Sheffield United last season but only made seven appearances as the Blades eventually secured promotion to the Premier League. Woodburn, who has won 10 caps for Wales, was a part of  Liverpool’s  pre-season tour of the USA in July prior to his move to Oxford, featuring in the Reds’ defeats to Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla. Woodburn, who can operate as a winger and as an attacking midfielder, has featured in six Premier League games since making his Liverpool debut back in 2016. The 24-year-old  has been strongly linked  with  Manchester United  in recent weeks and his agent is believed to be instigating a move away. United are running out of time to complete a deal, with the transfer window closing for English teams in just over a week, but Portuguese publication  A Bola  suggests that talks between the sides are gathering pace. The report states that  PSG  owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi and  Barcelona  president Josep Bartomeu will meet at the next European Club Association meeting, taking place on August 16. Lukaku has made it clear to  Manchester United  that he wants to leave after falling behind Marcus Rashford for the No.9 spot, as boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer creates his new-look side.
