Why Moise Kean rejected Arsenal transfer approach to agree Everton switch
Moise Kean turned down the chance to join Arsenal because the north London club could not promise first-team football, according to reports. The Juventus striker is set to join Everton after the two clubs agreed a fee that could rise to as much as £36million. The 19-year-old is now set to undergo a medical with the Merseyside club before completing the deal, which is expected to give the Italian champions first refusal on signing him in the future. However, the Daily Mail reports that Arsenal contacted both Juventus and Mino Raiola, the player's agent, in an attempt to hijack the move at the last minute. But the publication claims that the Italy international rejected a switch to the Emirates Stadium because the Gunners were unable to guarantee a regular place in Unai Emery's starting line-up.
