Why I Banned Okada and Keke in Lagos - Sanwo Olu
Some years back, a striking incidence took place in London. The Muslim in that part of UK requested to have their memorable religious ceremonies observed with public holidays, but the UK government opposed this idea.
It suddenly went viral that the miscreants decided to cripple activities in London. Seeing that majority of taxi operators were Muslim, they decided to embark on a sit-at-home strike.
This situation make Londoners helpless as they found it very difficult to meet up with time or cope with the absence of taxi. That is what Olu wants to prevent beforehand. As he remarked closely,
"Lagos had been encircled, infiltrated and occupied by violent mercenaries from Niger and Chad all claiming to be Okada riders. If they rose up against the indigenous population in the name of jihad or ethnic cleansing it would have been hell."
