The IDF said it is investigating an incident on Saturday in which the military struck a vehicle in the Tebnit area of southern Lebanon, which may have been carrying Lebanese military personnel.

According to the military, the vehicle had been moving toward IDF soldiers in a suspicious manner, following earlier intelligence indications that Hezbollah was planning attacks from the area.

The vehicle was struck after soldiers had determined it posed a threat to their safety, the IDF said.
