Yaniv Asor presented a plan to Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir for a return to fighting in Gaza, along with options for continued operations in the Gaza Strip, Walla reported on Wednesday. The plan for resuming combat also includes evacuation measures and the relocation of the population to new humanitarian zones. Sharabasi was killed last week by the IAF, with assistance from IDF troops and the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency). He recently operated near Gaza's Yellow Line and worked to advance attacks against IDF troops operating in the area.

The  Saudi  attacks, not previously reported, mark the first time that the kingdom is known to have directly carried out military action on Iranian soil and show it is becoming much bolder in defending itself against its main regional rival.
