IDF kills Nukhba commander who entered Israel on October 7

The IDF killed a Nukhba commander in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday who, during the October 7 massacre, entered Kibbutz Nirim, the military confirmed. The Hamas terrorist, Mohammed Emad Alrahman Abu Taima, also led a cell which ambushed IDF troops during the Israel-Hamas war.  In recent months, the IDF stated, Taima had been involved in maintaining operational readiness among Hamas members, and attempting to recruit new terrorists.

L (photo credit: Chris McGrath/Getty Images) French President Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday that he believed Iranian strikes on  US  bases in the Gulf violated the Memorandum of Understanding with the US, and that Iran had been mistaken to carry them out, but added that he understood meetings as part of the 60-day ceasefire between Iran and the United States would continue. Trump said earlier on Wednesday that the interim agreement to end the war with  Iran  was over after the attacks.

Trump reveals plan to remove Syria from US terrorism sponsor list

(photo credit: SINGER / POOL / AFP via Getty Images) US President  Donald Trump  said on Wednesday that he expects to remove Syria from the United States' list of state sponsors of terrorism, while praising the country's recent stability following the lifting of US sanctions. "I think I will," Trump told reporters ahead of a meeting with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa in Turkey when asked whether he would remove Syria from the terrorism sponsor list. Trump also said the United States had "released sanctions from the country," adding that  Syria  had "become very stable."

Iran threatens to close Strait of Hormuz, hit 'twice the number of targets' as US

(photo credit: AFP VIA GETTY IMAGES) Iran threatened to close the  Strait of Hormuz , according to state broadcaster Press TV on Wednesday, citing an unknown Iranian source. According to the source, Iran would reopen the strait only under its own arrangements, "as per the Islamabad  Memorandum of Understanding  (MoU)." The source added that Iran would "strike at least twice the number of targets hit" in response to any strikes by the United States. "The developments of the past 48 hours show  Iran  won't back down from managing the Hormuz," the source noted.

Iranian regime publishes footage of Khamenei's prayer room destroyed in February strikes

The footage was shared by several pro-regime outlets, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-run Fars News Agency. The short 50-second clip shows what appears to be rubble within the compound, warped support beams, and other elements buried under mounds of dirt in "Imam Khomeini's Husseiniyah at the Leader's residence," a prayer room belonging to the supreme leader, attached to their official residence. Explosions heard in southern Iran as US military conducts airstrikes on Islamic Republic

Iranian semi-official news agency Mehr reported that air defenses were activated in southern Iran after explosions were heard in the cities of Bandar Abbas, Sirik, Konarak, and Chabahar.
