"The fighter jet was downed using a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile (SAM)," Saree claimed. Saree did not specify when the alleged incident occured, but opened his statement claiming that RSAF jets had conducted "over 450 airstrikes" so far this week.

The IDF located missiles and a rocket launcher belonging to Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon on Monday, the military announced on Tuesday afternoon. Soldiers from the IDF's 810th Mountain Brigade, under the command of the 210th Division, discovered the weapons during operations in the area of Mount Dov, within Israel’s security line. Earlier in the day, the military said that troops from the 55th Brigade, operating under the command of the 91st Division, located ready-to-use rocket launchers in southern Lebanon.

The WSJ reported that Washington has drawn a direct line between the Chinese-sourced imagery and the July 17 strike on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, but did not confirm direct involvement from the Chinese government.  The officials told the WSJ that Iran acquired the images both ahead of and following the assault, though they would not name the Chinese firms involved and stopped short of accusing Beijing's government of direct involvement.

Last year, he threatened an additional 10 percent tariff on any country aligning itself with what he called the bloc’s “anti-American policies”. Since then, his administration has continued to wield tariffs aggressively against trading partners, including BRICS members such as Brazil, India and China. The message appears straightforward: Countries that challenge US economic power should expect to pay a price. But coercion has consequences. And as BRICS leaders meet in New Delhi today, Trump may be strengthening the very incentives that made the bloc attractive in the first place. Israel Defense Forces The Israeli military said it blew up more than a mile of tunnels Israel's military says it has destroyed a large underground complex operated by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. It said it used more than 1,000 tonnes of explosives to destroy two tunnels spanning more than 2km (1.2 miles) beneath the Ali Taher Ridge.
