The IDF on Tuesday confirmed it was carrying out strikes on several targets in the Gaza Strip in response to threats against Israeli forces.

"There are no casualties among our troops, and none of our troops are trapped. The IDF acted to bring an immediate threat to an end. The incident is nearing its conclusion," a military source confirmed to Maariv.

Additionally, Al Hadath reported that the IDF had coordinated with Gazan militias to attempt to "kidnap a figure near the Red Cross headquarters in Gaza."
