Nnamdi kanu Rejects Tinubi's Pardon

 

Information reaching Ajuedenews shows that the leader of the Indigenous peoples of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi kanu has rejected the presidential pardon offer by the Tinubu administration.

Following the seeming endless disturbance posed by the tireless Israeli parliament against the unlawful incarceration of the leader of the Indigenous peoples of Biafra, (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi kanu, the Tinubu administration has taken a bold step to release him.

Responding to this pressure, President Tinubu sent his wife to the leader of Islamic movement in Nigeria domicile in Sokoto, the Sultan. She went to plead with the sultan to permit the president to grant Nnamdi kanu a pardon.

Kanu's response to this drastic move towards his freedom gave a heavy shock to the entire Tinubu administration. Amazing, he did not welcome the movement. Kanu, the people's leader, rejected a presidential pardon. He insisted that he must be released unconditionally, not a pardon. Against that, he challenged Nigeria to hear him at the appellant court.

The second option is very difficult for Nigeria to handle.  Seeing that the conjecture that landed Kanu to unlawful incarceration has continued to hunt Nigeria globally, they are not prepared to make further mistake at the appellant court; especially when it was the same court that once granted him freedom.
