Abia High Court Rejected FG Suit, Said it Lacked Jurisdictional merit - Aloy Ejimakor

The Federal Government had decided to make mockery of the fast collapsing Nigeria. Frustration has made the Nigerian government run from pillar to post looking for how to correct their criminal act of kidnapping His Excellency Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Today, the frustrated federal government presented a suit to the Umuahia High Court seeking the transfer of Nnamdi Kanu kinap case to Abuja, but Abia high court rejected the suit on the ground that it lacks jurisdictional merit.

According to Aloy Ejimakor, Federal High Court, Umuahia denies Federal government’s qapplication to transfer the ‘extraordinary rendition’ suit to Abuja, and rules that “Umuahia has the jurisdiction to hear and determine the suit”. Reading of the rest of the judgment continues.

More from Umuahia: Court DENIES federal govt’s second preliminary objection to its jurisdiction based on Res Judicata. The Court rules that the Abia State High Court judgment of Jan 19, 2022 was specific to the 2017 military invasion, not the 2021 extraordinary rendition.

In the end, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu WINS at Federal High Court, Umuahia. Court ruled that the Extraordinary Rendition is a violation of his fundamental rights. All 7 prayers sought from the court granted, including restoring him to his state of being as of 19th June, 2021 & halting his prosecution.
