How Finland Sold out Simon Ekpa for a Nigerian Contract
From the statement of Katri Pehkonen, Wärtsilä Energy’s Communications Manager, the firm will supply the power generation equipment and assume responsibility for operating and maintaining the plant for five years. The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract, along with the operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement, were awarded to Wärtsilä by VIPL—a special purpose vehicle established by Lagos-based Elektron Energy for the project. The equipment contract was booked by Wärtsilä in Q4 2024.
This deal, as shown above, was agreed upon on the 4th day of November, 2024. This agreement succeeded visit to the Sustainable Technology Hub in Vaasa, Finland in November, 3 2024. Meaning that, PM Simon Ekpa was arrested in November after the agreement of the 30 MW deal was completed to fulfil the promise made to president Tinubu by the finish government. For as information had shown itself clearly, PM Simon Ekpa did not break any of the finish laws or that of the EU which should warant his arrest. Nothing can be used in place of the law other than bribe. And Nigerian government is an expert in such an act. Greenlight Africa covered information bothering on this.
According to Solebo, "I was very impressed by Wärtsilä’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities during my visit to the Sustainable Technology Hub in Vaasa, Finland in late Q3 2024 and am happy with the readiness of the engine-generator sets. In parallel, clearing and preparation activities at the NEPA Close Site are progressing well and are due for completion within Q2 2025, after which construction can start. Commissioning is expected 15 months thereafter and the Operations & Maintenance agreement is timed to commence prior to the new build project reaching commercial operations date (COD).”
Funny enough, On Friday, January 24th, 2025, the special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, claimed that arrest and detaining of PM Simon Ekpa a safeguard on human right. According to him,
“I must thank you for your record on safeguarding human rights in our country with the trial of Simon Ekpa."
It can be understood now that, in Nigeria, infringing on someone's right is a safeguarding process of the Nigerian human right. This is unbelievable. Finland sold Simon Ekpa for a 30MW contract in Nigeria. White people are naturally betrayers. Little wonder, Nnamdi Kanu was captured in Czech Republic, Norway is currently holding the Amazonian activist. Europe is the home of human right abuse and betrayal of trust. PM Simon Ekpa verses Finland -Nigeria human right infringement is a clear example of this.
