The founder of the Pan African Forum, David nyekorach matsanga, held the finish president at his own words and challenged him over the continues incarceration of PM. Simon Ekpa. Read his speech below.

Today, I had the honour of virtually participating in the Martti Ahtisaari Legacy Seminar held in Dar es Salaam — a powerful occasion to reflect on the enduring contributions of a man who stood firmly with Africa’s liberation movements. 

 I listened attentively to the speech by

the President of Finland, who invoked Ahtisaari’s core principle: “Only the parties to a conflict can make peace. It cannot be imposed from the outside.” 

 These words resonate deeply — and must also serve as a lesson to Finland itself. They have violated every European convention on Human Rights It is inconsistent to celebrate Ahtisaari’s legacy while imprisoning African voices who struggle for justice and freedom, including Biafran advocates for self-determination facing legal repression under Finland’s jurisdiction. Selective solidarity is not justice. 

To truly honour Martti Ahtisaari is to uphold his principles not just in ceremonial speeches, but in the policies and actions of those who speak in his name.

                  INTRODUCTION In the history of syntax, prepositions alongside other parts of speech are considered as one of the esteemed contributions of the sophists (the itinerant teachers) to the development of the human language. Etymologically, the term “preposition” belonged to the group of word class Aristotle, the founder, referred to as “syndesmoi”. Others in this group are conjunction , article and pronoun . They were thus grouped by Aristotle because they were found to be performing related functions that are summed up in binding terms and exposing the gaps amidst sentences when they are not included. As a plural term, “syndesmoi” is a collective noun that stands for the group while, conjunction , the part of speech that binds together the discourse and finds gaps in its interpretation was called “syndesmos” (see Robins, 1968).
