The Trial of Simon Ekpa: Day 5 - Onyeji Nnaji

As promised from day one, we will continue to give you the summary of the trial of PM. Simon Ekpa in the finish court on dailies.

Today, the 2nd day of June, 2025, our PM appeared in the court to face the third witness against. For today, the witness explained himself as PM's financial manager. According to the witness, he has managed the PM's account since 2023 till the day he was arrested in November, 2024.

The witness revealed to the court that, Simon got a huge amount through a fund-raising program in 2023. This said money, was converted to Bitcoin which PM used to purchase arms from dark web.
A dark web is a site on the internet where someone can make the transaction that no other person can access or trace to him.

CROSS EXAMINATION:

When the prosecuting lawyer was through with the witness, PM lawyer requested that he may corss examine the witness. This was granted and he moved to ask him several implicating question.

In reply, the witness revealed that he can access Simon's account without the PM's signature and admitted that he had done so before. He went on to say that he had also accessed dark web before and had made a purchase. 

When asked about the items purchased, the witness said he bought a "mystery box". A mystery box is a package that is usually sent through dark web. Whoever that purchases it does not know the content until he opens it. From this point, PM lawyer launched deeper questions which implicated the witness more. The fright which his countenance read as the cross-examination continued already declared hm guilty.

As the witness could not speak clearly, rather was muffling words mixed with the truth that mouth could not tell, it became obvious that he was the very one who accessed the dark web using PM's account to make transactions that would implicate his boss. And, just as PM wife was paid by the finish authority to divorce him so that he could be repatriated, the same was how this foolish manager was paid to make the purchase, so that Simon may be judged by it. But, you know what?

The almighty is awake and defused to sleep over the Biafran course.

                  INTRODUCTION In the history of syntax, prepositions alongside other parts of speech are considered as one of the esteemed contributions of the sophists (the itinerant teachers) to the development of the human language. Etymologically, the term “preposition” belonged to the group of word class Aristotle, the founder, referred to as “syndesmoi”. Others in this group are conjunction , article and pronoun . They were thus grouped by Aristotle because they were found to be performing related functions that are summed up in binding terms and exposing the gaps amidst sentences when they are not included.
