Unexpectedly; Trump to visit China in late March

President Donald Trump is set to travel to China for a long-anticipated meeting with their leader Xi Jinping.
The White House confirmed the meeting on Friday, stating President Trump’s meeting has long-been expected and is set to focus on an extension to the Sino-American trade truce which has kept both countries from further raising tariffs.
The announcement came prior to the Supreme Court’s ruling against the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) tariffs some of which were imposed on Chinese imports.
President Trump is expected to visit China from March 31st to April 2nd.
The last time that he visited China was in 2017, the most recent visit by a U.S. president.
