Saudi Arabia says ballistic missile launched from Yemen was heading towards 'regional country'

The Saudi defense ministry said a missile that it had detected earlier on Monday as being launched from Yemen was heading towards a "regional country" without naming the country.

The defense ministry said results of investigations showed that the missile "deviated from its course and fell in an open area near the Saudi-Yemeni border."

Iran said that it did not launch any attack on Saudi Arabia, while the Iran-aligned Houthis said they launched an attack against Israel.
