The House Ethics Committee ruled by unanimous vote Friday that Rep. Rashida Tlaib violated campaign finance laws by paying herself a salary after winning her 2018 election; ordering the lawmaker to repay more than $10,000.
“Rashida Tlaib violated campaign finance law by paying herself a salary after winning her election in 2018, the House Ethics Committee unanimously ruled on Friday. The committee ordered Rashida Tlaib to repay her campaign $10,800,” posted a reporter with the Daily Caller.
