Omotosho Used Bible as an Instrument of Destruction of Life

Most at times, people find reliance on the holy bible as the justification means to their evil intentions. This was the method Justice James Omotosho applied to condemn Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on the 20th November, 2025. Where no law exists to justify certain atrocious actions, relief has always been found within the letters of the Bible.

“Show me the law. Where is the written law? A responsible country, a responsible judge, would present the statute clearly. That is why it is called a court — you sentence with evidence, not with silence.”

He further described the process as “a judicial embarrassment” and emphasized that no nation claiming democracy should deliver a 25-year sentence without displaying the exact law under which the accused was convicted.

Obasanjo also praised Nnamdi Kanu’s courage throughout the trial:

“Whether you agree with him or not, the man stood brave until the end. And that is what makes him a hero in the eyes of many.”     De Justice
