US forces shot down two Iranian one-way attack drones as Tehran appeared to attempt to strike commercial ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, a US official told Reuters on Thursday, in the latest clashes between the two nations. "Traffic flow through the strait continues," the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

With the Zaharani River only six kilometers away, and Nabatieh only three kilometers away, Hezbollah has become concerned about a new IDF advance and has reinforced those areas. IDF assessments have determined that they can't fully disarm the terror organization but can push them back far enough into Lebanon to significantly reduce the risk to Israeli citizens.

watch now VIDEO 06:09 Oil rises, Gulf on alert as U.S. and Iran launch new wave of strikes President  Donald Trump  on Thursday threatened to seize Iran’s oil infrastructure including its main export terminal  Kharg Island  “in the not too distant future.” Trump said in a Truth Social post that the U.S. military will attack Iran “VERY HARD” Thursday night after completing a round of airstrikes on Wednesday. The president threatened to take “total control” of Iran’s oil and gas markets as the U.S. did in Venezuela earlier this year. Kharg Island  is Iran’s main  oil export  terminal, accounting for about 90% of its crude shipments before the war. The U.S. Navy has already choked off most of Iran’s exports through a blockade against the country’s ports and vessels. A female IDF soldier was moderately injured in a drone strike in southern Lebanon on Thursday, the military confirmed. The IDF added that the soldier was evacuated to a hospital to receive treatment, and her family has been notified.

Explosion Wounded Two IDF Soldiers during Counterterrorism Operation

(photo credit: ISRAEL POLICE SPOKESPERSON'S UNIT) An IDF officer and non-commissioned officer (NCO) were wounded by an explosive device during a  counterterrorism  operation in Jenin, the IDF announced on Thursday. The officer was severely wounded, while the NCO was only lightly wounded. Both were evacuated to receive medical attention, and their families have been notified. Army Radio reported that IDF forces had been operating in  Jenin  in order to establish a permanent outpost within the refugee camp. Troops located a suspicious object and picked it up, apparently leading to the explosion
