CAMEROON SACKS CLARENCE SEEDORF

According to reports, Clarence Seedorf will be sacked as head coach of Cameroon following the country's Round of 16 exit at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Indomitable Lions crashed out of the tournament following a 3-2 defeat to Nigeria as they fell hopelessly short of defending the crown they won in Gabon two years ago.
Cameroon Sports Minister, Professor Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, reportedly announced on state television CRTV that Seedorf would not continue as head coach of the Indomitable Lions.
Seedorf was a surprise appointment in August of last year, having yet to really earn his stripes as a coach despite a glittering playing career.
The 43-year-old former Dutch international won Uefa Champions League titles with three different club sides in a successful career that also included league titles with Ajax Amsterdam, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
