AFCON 2021 Qualifiers: Super Eagles Host Benin Republic November 11

Three-time African champions, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will face the Squirrels of Benin Republic in their first match of the qualifiers for 2021 Africa Cup of Nations at home on November 11, Completesports.com reports.
The Group L clash will likely take place at the Super Eagles’ adopted home ground, the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
Gernot Rohr’s men will then travel to Maseru eight days later where they will take on hosts Lesotho in their matchday-two fixture.
The qualifying series will then take a break for eight months before resumption in August 2020.
The Super Eagles will host Sierra Leone on August 31 2020 in a matchday-three encounter before travelling to Freetown for the reverse fixture eight days later.
The Super Eagles will then face hosts Benin on October 5, 2020, before they round off the AFCON 2021 qualifying series on November 9, 2020 with a home game against Lesotho.
The top two teams from each of the 12 groups will qualify for AFCON 2021 to be hosted by Cameroon. The host nation, Cameroon will participate in the qualifiers but have a guaranteed spot in the final tournament regardless of the position they finish in Group F.
The Super Eagles finished in third position at the recently concluded AFCON 2019 in Egypt.
