Ighalo Joins Mikel, Retires From Super Eagles

Nigeria’s Odion Ighalo has joined Mikel Obi to announce his retirement from the Super Eagles.
The Nigerian strike who plays for a Chinese club made the announcement on his social media page (Twitter).
He said it is now time for him to concentrate on the international club and give the younger players a chance to grow.
In his tweet, he thanked the NFF and the Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr for believing in him.
Ighalo emerged highest goal scorer of the African Cup of Nations 2019.
He also won the golden boot with five goals.
