Remember the popular adage that says “spare the rod and spoil the child.” This particular father is not ready to spoil his child so guess what, he didn’t spare the rod.

This reporter has stumbled on a video of a father picking up his belt to lash the daughter for uploading a twerking video on her WhatsApp status.

The angry father after watching the explicit video took his belt off and dragged her daughter to his room for the severe beatings to serve as a lesson.

We are certain she wouldn’t try that thing again in her life and some have praised the father for teaching her a lesson as girls of today are messing up too much on Social media these days.

                  INTRODUCTION In the history of syntax, prepositions alongside other parts of speech are considered as one of the esteemed contributions of the sophists (the itinerant teachers) to the development of the human language. Etymologically, the term “preposition” belonged to the group of word class Aristotle, the founder, referred to as “syndesmoi”. Others in this group are conjunction , article and pronoun . They were thus grouped by Aristotle because they were found to be performing related functions that are summed up in binding terms and exposing the gaps amidst sentences when they are not included. As a plural term, “syndesmoi” is a collective noun that stands for the group while, conjunction , the part of speech that binds together the discourse and finds gaps in its interpretation was called “syndesmos” (see Robins, 1968).
