How the DSS Threw Igbo Boys to Wawa Barracks to Die - Ben Manasseh

Many a time people think that the youths arrested in Igbo land by the Nigerian DSS are kept in the DSS facilities in Abuja, but many of them are not. This was the revelation made by one of the freed Buhari-must-go protesters released from the DSS cell.

In an interview by Journal Reporters on Facebook, Ben Manasseh gave account of hidden atrocities that prevailed in the DSS cell. He revealed one pathetic incident concerning one Emeka Richmond Ngornadi who was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) in April 2021.

According to Manasseh who interrogated him in the DSS facility.Emeeka was arrested just because he liked and shared a post about the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on the social media. He was reportedly detained for a significant period without access to his family or legal representation, leading to human rights concerns and legal action.

While his detained periods tarried, Emeka's pregnant
wife lost her baby.

As we speak, Emeka has not been release despite the court
order demanding that he be released by the DSS officials.
Ben Manasseh has revealed, during the interview, that
The DSS has refused to release him. Instead, they transferred
him to Wawa Barracks where they keep IPOB members
to be tortured and die.

AI generated information shows that Wawa Barracks (also known as Wawa Cantonment) is a major Nigerian Army military facility located near Kainji and Wawa town in Niger State, Nigeria. It is a multi-agency hub used for counter-terrorism operations, investigation, and detention of high-risk suspects.
