Netanyahu Meets the Freed Israeli Hostage in Iran
Tsurkov described to Netanyahu the harsh conditions of her captivity and expressed her hope for the return of all the hostages held in Gaza.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Russian-Israeli researcher Elizabeth Tsurkov, who was freed from captivity in Iraq and returned to Israel on Wednesday, the Prime Minister's Office announced on Thursday.
During the conversation, Tsurkov thanked Netanyahu and all those involved in securing her release and assisting her family.
Tsurkov described to Netanyahu the harsh conditions of her captivity and expressed her hope for the return of all the hostages held in Gaza.
The PMO also thanked the parties, led by US President Donald Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Envoy Adam Boehler, and the efforts of Hostage and Missing Persons Coordinator Gal Hirsch to secure her release
