Rubio condemns Hezbollah for call to overthrow Lebanese government

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned the Hezbollah terrorist group after it called for the overthrow of the Lebanese government on Sunday.

"Hezbollah has ignored repeated calls from the legitimate Government of Lebanon to cease its attacks and respect a ceasefire," Rubio stated. "Instead, it has continued firing on Israeli positions and moving fighters and weapons into southern Lebanon."

Rubio further accused Hezbollah of "actively trying to drag Lebanon back into chaos and destruction."

The US stands behind the Lebanese government, he promised.

Lindsey Graham lauds Trump for possibility of expansions to Abraham Accords

US Senator Lindsey Graham seemed to walk back statements he had made earlier on Sunday regarding Trump's emerging Iran deal.

In an X post, the senator said that if Trump were able to get other Middle Eastern countries to join the Abraham Accords and secure a deal with Iran, it would be "one of the most consequential in the history of the Middle East."

"Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Pakistan joining the Abraham Accords would be beyond transformative for the region and world. It is a brilliant move by President Trump," he added. 

"President Trump: Stick to your guns in getting a good deal with Iran. Equally important, stick to your guns in insisting Saudi Arabia and others join the Abraham Accords as part of these negotiations."

Etymologically, the term “preposition” belonged to the group of word class Aristotle, the founder, referred to as “syndesmoi”. Others in this group are conjunction , article and pronoun . They were thus grouped by Aristotle because they were found to be performing related functions that are summed up in binding terms and exposing the gaps amidst sentences when they are not included.
