Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation said on Friday that three Saudi nationals were killed and several people were wounded following two attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Thursday.

Operations at the airport have since returned to normal, the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority said.

Saudia airlines also said on Friday that an incident at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh had resulted in the death of one employee and damage to an aircraft while it was on the ground.

No passengers were on board the aircraft at the time, and the airline added that flights and operations at the airport had returned to normal as of 6 p.m. on Thursday.
