(photo credit: Ludovic MARIN / POOL / AFP via Getty Images) Lebanese Prime Minister  Nawaf Salam  accused Israel of war crimes in an X/Twitter post early Thursday morning, claiming that the IDF had targeted journalists in southern Lebanon.  "Targeting journalists, obstructing access to them by relief teams, and even targeting their locations again after these teams arrive constitutes described  war crimes ," said Salam.   PREFACE In 2003, Dr. Atkinson and Russell Gray, another biologist at the University of Auckland, carried out a succession of the sequence of Arkinson's earlier research on the origin of the human tongue and came to the conclusion that, "The presence of a particular language in many other languages does not mean that it was sourced from those languages; rather, it is a proof that other languages sprung from it". Trump, Pakistani sources say US-Iran talks could begin Friday as ceasefire extended - report

(photo credit: REUTERS/Nathan Howard) US President Donald Trump  said he expects negotiations with Iran to begin as soon as Friday, with Pakistani sources saying talks could take place in 36 to 72 hours, the  New York Post  reported on Wednesday. The report mentioned that Trump, when asked via text message about the possibility of talks happening soon, said: “It’s possible! President DJT.” Late on Tuesday,  Trump announced on Truth Social  that he had decided to extend the temporary US-Iran ceasefire until Iranian officials submit a “unified proposal” for discussion. The decision to extend the ceasefire, which was set to expire on Wednesday, was made “based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured” and upon the request of Pakistani officials, Trump stated. Lebanon to propose extending ceasefire with Israel in next round of Washington talks

The Israeli and Lebanese ambassadors to the United States are set to meet on Thursday for a  second round of talks  between the two countries. The goal of the discussions is to advance the  disarmament of Hezbollah  and promote normalization between the two neighbors. Large Iranian missile fragment located in open area in central Israel

A large Iranian missile fragment found in an open area in central Israel, April 22, 2026. (photo credit: ISRAEL POLICE) Israeli civilians called the  Israel Police  after locating a large  missile  fragment in an open area near Ramat Hasharon, central Israel, on Wednesday. The fragment is believed to be from an interception during  Operation Roaring Lion , the police said. Police officers, including sappers and bomb disposal officers, were dispatched to the scene in order to handle the possibility of any unexploded ordnance. Israel Police  confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident and that the fragment posed no danger. Israeli civilians discovered a large missile fragment near Ramat Hasharon, believed to be from Operation Roaring Lion. Police confirmed no danger and urged public vigilance. Go to the full article > >
